Vaccinations

Vaccinations are an important part of keeping your pet healthy and protecting them against preventable diseases. At Filey Vets, we provide tailored vaccination programmes for puppies, kittens and adult pets, helping protect their health throughout every stage of life. Our experienced team will assess your pet’s individual needs and recommend an appropriate vaccination schedule to support their long-term wellbeing.

Puppy and Kitten Vaccinations

Our vets carefully assess your pet before every procedure to ensure the safest anaesthetic approach. Throughout treatment, your pet is closely monitored using modern equipment, with dedicated care provided before, during and after their procedure.

What to expect during a vaccination appointment

Adult Pet Vaccinations

Adult pets may need regular booster vaccinations to maintain their protection against infectious diseases. The vaccinations recommended for your pet will depend on their previous vaccination history, lifestyle, age and individual risk factors.

Vaccinations may be recommended for:

Puppies and Kittens

An initial vaccination course helps young pets develop protection against important infectious diseases during their early stages of life.

Adult Dogs and Cats

Regular booster vaccinations help maintain immunity and provide ongoing protection against preventable diseases.

Pets with Different Lifestyles

Pets that travel, mix with other animals or attend boarding facilities may have additional vaccination requirements depending on their circumstances.

Pets with an Unknown Vaccination History

If you have adopted a pet or do not have their previous vaccination records, our vets can assess their history and recommend a suitable vaccination plan.
